Soon-to-be divorcee Jessica Simpson is thinking about adopting kids.

Rob Shuter, Jessica Simpsons publicist confirmed, “It is true that she’s exploring options,” but when? “Nothing has been finalized yet,” is his answer.

He further added, “Jessica and her family have anonymously contributed money to Mexican orphanages for several years,” and adoption is an option for the blonde entratainer “to further help these children in need.”

Jessica Simpson started visiting the orphanages in Mexico with a church group when she was only 11, asked her parents if she could adopt a child while still in high school, as expected, daddy simpson answered “NO”.

Jessica Simpson got her inspiration from a high profile mother, “It’s unbelievable. I think Angelina Jolie has done amazing, amazing things, and the international adoption rate just since her has skyrocketed.”

“I want to adopt, and I plan to adopt before I have my own kids,” the Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica star told.

But it seems Jessica’s plan may delay further and Ashlee Simpson may have to wait further to become an aunt.

Jessica Simpson’s soon to be ex, Nick Lachey is spending qualty time with former Miss Kentucky USA (in 2002) Elizabeth Ann Arnold.

Last month Nick and Ann Arnold have been dallying in hotels, including L.A.’s Four Seasons, and in private homes.

Nick Lachey’s friend says “she’s just one of the many people that are part of the group Nick hangs out with. He’s not even looking for a girlfriend.”

The 36 year old blonde beauty Elizabeth Ann Arnold said about Nick Lachey, “He’s a really great guy.”

Jessica Simpson was spotted recently with rock star Adam Levine, the Maroon 5 frontman, in a night out.

Nick Lachey is seeking spousal support from his estranged wife Jessica Simpson, and he wants his jewelry back, in the divorse paper he filed.

Nick Lachey mentioned irreconcilable differences for the separation, in the papers filed in court on Friday in response to Jsessica Simpsons divorce filing on December 16 last year.

He also asked for “miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects,” and part of Jessica Simpson’s earnings from after the date of separation and other assets.

Papers filed by Nick Lachey claims date of separation was December 13, 2005, whereas Jessica Simpsons claim was November 23, 2005. This difference of dates are relevent as Jessica Simpson made nearly $1 million during those time, that money would have to split with her former husband under California law.

The Mediterranean-style house owned by the couple during their ‘Newlyweds’ time was sold to Malcolm in the Middle teen actor Justin Berfield allegdly for $3.6 millions.
